Donate to College from the USA
As of 1 January 2021
To ensure that our current and future USA donors still have a tax-efficient way of donating to College, we have been able to secure the use of the Rhodes University Trust USA, their 501 (c) (3) trust in America, so that our donors may still take advantage of the tax benefits provided to USA tax payers while continuing to contribute to College.
The Rhodes University Trust USA
The Rhodes University Trust USA (a tax-exempt, non-profit organization) was set up in 1992 and became fully operational in 1993. Its primary purpose is to provide funding and support for educational activities conducted by Rhodes University in South Africa and other educational institutions and initiatives in the surrounding area.
The Rhodes University Trust USA is managed by a board of trustees, all of whom have volunteered their services and time free of charge. The board consists of at least three people at all times – the President, Treasurer and Secretary. It meets approximately once a quarter to discuss strategy, disbursement of funds and other matters of business.
The Rhodes University Trust USA will accept both electronic transfers and online donations to College and Prep via their established procedures, and these gifts will be transferred to us in due course.

Please note: PayPal deducts 3% of the total transaction value from your donation as processing fees. Should you wish to cover the cost of the transaction fee, PayPal provides the opportunity to do so.

Answering your questions about donating to St Andrew’s College
The Foundation Office raises funds for a variety of projects on campus, and for the provision of financial support in the form of bursaries and scholarships. General gifts can also be made which will be allocated to a project at the discretion of the Headmaster.
